Teacher Vacancy:

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, full time, SEN teacher with drive, enthusiasm and resilience to join our successful and supportive teaching at Pencalenick School.  The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and delivering excellent learning opportunities to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs. This is a general teaching position with a focus on RE, Humanities and enrichment activities; it is a wonderful opportunity for a talented teacher to develop their teaching within the unique setting of a special multi-academy trust.  A positive outlook, a proactive approach and a track record of high quality teaching and learning is essential.

Curnow School:

TA Vacancy:

We’re looking to appoint some energetic and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work as part of a wider team at Curnow School on a fixed term contract, initially until 31/08/2021.  Working hours for Teaching Assistants at Curnow School vary according to work base.  Lower School (Illogan) TAs work 9:00 am – 3:40 pm.  Upper School (Redruth) TAs work 8:50 am -  3:30 pm.    We have vacancies at both sites.  

The role of an SEN Teaching Assistant at Curnow School may change during the day, dependent upon the support needs of each pupil.  The successful candidate will be required to work alongside class teachers and other support staff and to follow any recommendations/guidance from multi agency teams.

SEN Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant

We are looking to appoint a caring and patient Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at Curnow School in Redruth.    

The successful candidate will help pupils with their feeding skills, health/hygiene programmes and play/leisure activities.  He/she will be required to interact positively with our pupils and ensure their safety at all times.  Relevant experience would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
